Ingrid & William - The Netherlands (BVI’s Tortola, Dec. 2018)

I have no boat shoes, I said when I stepped into the Dinghy while the Skipper reached out his hand to assist me. No need for, he said. Shoes will be overdressed on my boat he smiled, and left his flips flops in the little rubber boat while he stepped up on the stairs of the backside of his catamaran and welcomed us barefooted and widely smiling. Barefooted and open minded, that’s the best way to describe Ernest, born in The Netherlands. Ernest loves nature, the sea, and all that lives but especially people. He sails alone but loves to welcome guests on board, and you can feel that immediately when you step on board. Ernest is open to get to know everyone for real, to connect and to take you on a trip where you going to experience beautiful moments and make wonderful memories together. Ernest is not just a captain. He will sail you trough the seas, passing the coasts, but he will also take you on a journey through his way of seeing the world around him and being great full for that. Noticing that nothing around him is taken for granted.

Wonderful sailing experience,

My family and I have just enjoyed a wonderful, safe and delicious sailing excursion around the entire island of Antigua. Whilst on board, we swam, snorkeled, fished and ate wonderful meals with. We swam with stingrays and visited beautiful beaches whilst mooring just offshore. The crew of the Celeone are friendly and courteous, and made us feel like family straight away. I would recommend this trip to couples and older families.

If anyone wants to rent a beautiful and exclusive catamaran with a professional skipper, namely the owner Ernest Schollen, then check on Celeone Charter. The boat is right now in the beautiful little harbor Pasito blanco close to Maspalomas. He and his wife are fantastic hosts. Yesterday we cruised along the cost heading to Puerto Mogan. The weather was perfect and while anchoring outside of Arguiniguìn, we had a wonderful sun downing dinner on the boat, all prepared by Bo, Ernest's wife - served with an excellent and chilled Rosé wine. Before that we jumped from the boat for a refreshing swim. It is impressing to see the island from a different view - from the waterside, watching the deep blue water gliding next to us. Definetly an experience not to miss! And if you don't like Rosé - don't worry - you are asked before what food and drinks you like! We only had a day - but you can cruise with the Celeone also for 2 or 3 weeks and you can pick all kinds of distances. Look up the homepage.

Hi Ernie,

Thanks for giving us such a great time on board the beautiful Celeone. The whole 2 weeks went much too quickly and the places you took us were lovely. Although we didn't manage to convert you to Vegemite, we think we have probably "Aussiefied" you a bit and hope one day, you come and sail our waters! Hopefully we can join you again in your next sailing venture and explore the Caribean with you! Will post some pics asap!

Best wishes

We had a great time with Ernest, as well teens as adults. We discovered beautifull areas along the Turkish coasts. Boat is cosy, confortable and clean. This week in July was magical. :-)
